“Skin Cancer Heroes”
May, 2018
(updated: June 14th, 2018)

This year, the American Academy of Dermatology is recognizing “Skin Cancer Heroes” — patients and survivors, the friends and loved ones who have helped and supported them, and the board-certified dermatologists who have detected and treated their skin cancer.

The Academy has numerous resources one can use to promote skin cancer awareness and the role board-certified dermatologists play in detecting and treating the most common cancer in the U.S.

May is Melanoma Awareness Month!
May, 2017

Remember: It Is Time For Your Annual Appointment

The Dermatology Institute of Boston recommends that you have your skin checked once a year.

To support melanoma detection, this month we have reserved appointments for skin cancer evaluations.
Make sure you get your annual screening: it can be lifesaving!

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in America.
It is estimated that 20 percent of people will develop it in their lifetime.
There are more than 2 million people diagnosed with skin cancer every year.
Those statistics may be scary to hear, but it is important to remember that skin cancer is much easier to treat if it is detected early.

A patient's chance of surviving skin cancer is more than 90 percent if it is detected early.

Do not hesitate to call our office today at 857.317.2057 to schedule your full skin exam!

All the Best,
Emmy Graber, MD

Contact us now and get a skin check today.  It can save your life.
